COMM 335 Photojournalism

This course explores how we tell stories using pictures in newspapers, magazines and online publications. It covers legal and ethical considerations, visual storytelling rooted in semiotic theory, and focuses on hands-on practice and critique. Students will be required to provide a camera for this course, which may be borrowed or purchased. Contact instructor for specific camera requirements.
