WELL 133 Indoor Cycling

Students will be guided through a progressive exercise program that gradually increases physical activity over the course of the semester. This course teaches students basic concepts associated with indoor cycling including how to build endurance and muscular strength through structured indoor cycling workouts. Instruction will include how to use intervals, hill climbs and coasts for building an effective workout designed to improve health and fitness. The course will also emphasize the importance of habitual physical activity with regard to health and disease risk. Meets QuEST Wellness requirement.
