PSYC 365 Drugs and Human Behavior

The goal of this course is to provide an understanding of substance use and its impact on individuals, families and communities. This course will emphasize the biological basis for addiction and the pharmacological effects of drugs and alcohol. The course will also examine the motivations, social implications and legal ramifications of drug use, as well as the methods and effectiveness of drug treatment and prevention.
