PHYS 421 Particle Physics

This course is a survey in particle physics. Recent developments in the field have seen a symbiosis of elementary partaicles and astrophysics. The focus of the course will be particles and interactions, Standard Model, extensions to the Standard Model, early universe, dark matter, dark energy, particles and radiation in the cosmos, cosmic rays, and particle physics in teh stars.
