PHYS 251 Modern Physics

Topics in Modern Physics: problems with classical physics, special theory of relativity, quantization of charge and energy, wavelike properties of particles, Schrodinger Equations, spectra of the atoms, molecular structures and spectra, nuclear and particle physics. Three hours of lectures and three hours of laboratory per week.
