MATH 350 Mathematics of Finance I

This course is aimed to help students begin to prepare the Financial Mathematics exam of the Society of Actuaries. While this course is not a full preparatory course, key concepts in modeling will be introduced. Topics include: compound interest, data cashflow valuations, financial modeling, and applications of these ideas. All topics are covered with Mathematical rigor, requiring significant algebraic skills.
