IAEP 63 Advanced Grammar

This course provides English learnerswith an opportunity to increase their grammatical accuracy in language production: speaking and writing. With an advanced focus on grammar that is contextualized and academic, this course enables students to move beyond knowing grammar rules to developing automaticicity in applying this grammar knowledgeand producing correct language forms. The course will address verb tenses and verb forms, modals, clauses, nouns, and conditionals, in addition to other structures which pose difficulties for students. The emphasis will be on tasks and assignmentswhich increase correctness in meaningful usage.
