HUMA 201 Humanities Past and Present

A foundational seminar for majors focused on a comparative study of the humanities through time and a methodological study of the humanities as a diverse yet universal search for what it means to be fully human. The purposes of the humanities to both humanize individuals and nurture civic commitment will be explored.
