HIST 134 Knights, Peasants, and Bandits: A Social History of Medieval England

(3) An exploration of the ways ordinary (and some not-so-ordinary) people coped with both daily life as well as major historical events that occurred in England from the Norman Conquest to the Tudor dynasty. Special emphasis is placed on life within the communities of family, village, court, church, and city. Meets General Education European History requirement.
