HDFS 362 Child Life Field Experience

This course offers students practical experience working with hospitalized children and exposes them to the role of the Child Life Specialist in a healthcare setting. This field experience runs concurrent with course work for HDFS 361. Students spend time weekly working with hospitalized children for a total of at least forty hours over the course of the semester.
