HDFS 320 Play and Development

Play and leisure are important activities in facilitating healthy human development. This class explores the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical benefits of play and leisure. Emphasis is given to the theoretical understanding of play and leisure, as well as the therapeutic uses of play. Careers that rely heavily on the use of play will be explored.
