Exploration of how electrical and mechanical instruments are used to collect data from biological and physiological systems. Theory of device operation given. Experiments designed to reinforce measurement principles and techniques. Data analyzed to determine statistical relevance. Topics include: biomedical sensors, determination of biomechanical properties of tissues, and biological and medical imaging techniques.Fee: $50.
