ENGL 124 Short Story

An introduction to the genre of the short story. Examination of the elements (e.g., plot, characterization, narrative point of view, metaphor, symbol) of classic to contemporary stories, paying particular attention to the changes in the ways writers perceive the world. Meets QuEST/General Education Literature requirement.
