EDUC 408 Seminar and Field Experience in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

This course provides advanced study of TESOL methodology, with opportunity to combine theory and practice in diverse contexts including ministry contexts. A 40-hour supervised field experience is required. Teacher eduction students will complete a minimum of 30 field experience hours in the public school system, in grades 3-12. Non-teacher education students complete the field experience through the Agape Center. (International options may also be possible). This course requires clearances and that students provide their own transportation for the field experience. TEP clearances on file required.
