EDUC 301 Literacy:Climate, Curriculum and Instruction I

Introduction to reading theory for the primary grades. Emphasizes the transactional nature of the reading and writing process, the classroom teacher's role, approaches to early literacy practices, and the relationship between assessment and instruction.
