CIS 490 Topics in Computer Information Science

Each offering may deal with a different information systems area of current and practical relevance. Topics will be selected based on current and emerging issues, trends and technologies related to information systems. Such topics may include Decision Support Systems, Management Information Systems, computer simulation, advanced displays, intelligent interfaces, system planning and execution tools, Genetic Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic, Knowledge Based Systems, software metrics, information system acquisition models, computer forensics, and specific functional areas such as health care and financial information systems. This course may be taken more than once for credit (with a different topic).
