CHEM 410 Biochemistry I

Types of biochemical compounds with emphasis on structure/function relationships, i.e., bioenergetics, catabolism and human nutrition. The laboratory includes the isolation and purification of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates; qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological compounds; and enzyme kinetics. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week.Lab Fee: $65.
