ART 132 Introduction to Printmaking

An exploration of three unique areas of the world of printmaking, examining one technique per week. Digital presentation, participatory demonstrations, and bi-weekly critiques will accompany each process. Participants will design and execute a series of proofs relating to the development of each image, and print a limited edition of their best project. The final edited prints will be distributed so that students receive a print from each of their peers (selected process will vary each year). Meets QuEST/General Education Arts requirement; does not meet major requirements for art majors. Fee: $55.
