PHTH 786 PT Skills IV: Manual Therapy

This course provides an evidence based manual therapy approach toward evaluation and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Emphasis will be on enhancing the student's clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills. Manual therapy techniques include: soft tissue (myofascial release, active release, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), muscle energy, strain-counter strain, cupping, mobilization with movement, nerve gliding, and HVLA thrust manipulation.
