Student Life
Student Life is committed to students’ development and college success through intentional co-curricular engagement experiences. The office provides oversight for the Student Council (SC) and its affiliated student organizations, leadership programs, New Student Orientation (NSO), and campus-wide programming and recognition events.
- Student Council (SC) – This is the governing organization of the Mercy College of Ohio student body. SC has a fiscal responsibility and accountability for the student activity fee.
- Student Organizations– Active membership in student organizations is an excellent way for students to meet and work with peers, gain and further enhance leadership skills, and positively contribute to the Mercy College community. Additional information about current and active organizations is available at: https://mercycollege.edu/student-affairs/student-life/government.
- Leadership Programs – These programs are grounded in the Mercy College values and a servant leadership model, and include the Student Leader Retreat, Leader Scholars program, and Leadership Series.
- New Student Orientation (NSO) – The NSO program prepares new Mercy College students for success in their academic endeavors and provides an opportunity to learn more about the campus community. Additional NSO information can be found at https://mercycollege.edu/admissions/admitted/soar-information.
