NUR2300 Obstetrics and Pediatric Care
This course provides registered nursing students with comprehensive knowledge and clinical or simulation experience in obstetric and pediatric nursing. Through integrated theory, lab, and clinical components, students will explore the principles of maternal, newborn, and child health, including normal and high-risk conditions. Emphasis is placed on family-centered care, growth and development, patient education, and culturally competent practice. The course prepares students to support individuals and families across the continuum of care, from prenatal through pediatric stages.
