EET2510 Automated Process Control
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of automated systems. Various aspects of the systems will be covered, such as the components, layouts and communication. The function and operation of various sensory and actuating devices will be explained. Industrial standards and communication protocols of the systems will be introduced. In addition to the hardware, popular automation software will be demonstrated as well as its applications. A selection of case studies is used to illustrate the key concepts of real world automation systems.
