This course is designed to help the student learn and improve skills and strategies that are essential to academic success. This course will enable the student to understand their learning styles and personal goals, and to identify career planning tools that will help them during their college career. Through activities, application, and reflection, the material covered in this course should support and assist the student in other courses. (1 lect.) UNST

Outcomes

In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:

1. Describe characteristics of whole person wellness as they relate to accomplishing personal goals.

2. Explain practical applications of financial literacy components to use in personal, academic, and professional situations.

3. Summarize ways that individual values, interests, and skills connect to and impact career choice.

4. Identify characteristics of cultural components and impacts on society.

5. Identify opportunities for involvement with the Central Wyoming College (CWC) and geographical communities.

6. Indicate effective personal strategies for success in learning content within various settings, including college and life-long learning.
