Library

The Central Wyoming College Library is the academic information commons at the center of the Riverton campus in Main Hall. The CWC Library located in Main Hall 109 is the main library for the campus of Central Wyoming College, serving our students, instructional faculty, and campus staff, as well as the community of Riverton, Fremont County, and our multiple Outreach Centers in Lander, Wind River, Dubois, and Jackson.

The CWC Library provides physical and online resources, and multiple tools for students’ research, learning, and creativity. The Library has collaborative areas for groups to meet and private quiet areas for study time. There are computers and printing services available for student and public use in addition to space and resources. CWC Librarians provide information literacy sessions, as well as one-on-one research and citation assistance to help to improve college performance.

Inside the Library, students will also find the Test Center (see below) and the campus Lost and Found. Students have 24/7 access to thousands of eBooks, newspapers, magazines, journals, films, music, art, maps, and other quality online databases and book catalogs using their CWC student account and the CWC Library website. The Library offers a significant collection of books about Wyoming and Native American history, plus diverse physical resources including educational models, games, laptops, and more. CWC students may also request items from other libraries around the state and nation with no (or minimal) charge through interlibrary loan. In addition, the Library has popular fiction and non-fiction books and audiobooks for student leisure. The Library is open Monday - Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
