STAT 2070 Intro Statistics for the Social Sciences
The goal of this course is to present the central ideas of descriptive statistics and statistical inference, as applied to questions in the social sciences. Topics include graphs, averages, sampling, estimation, hypothesis-testing, and relationships between variables. Associated computer skills will also be introduced. Students earning credit in
STAT 2070 may not earn credit in
STAT 2050. Prerequisite: Completion of
MATH 1000 or
