SWK 316 Social Welfare in Appalachia
This course examines issues of social welfare by focusing upon the impact of limited resources on diverse Appalachian populations. Study integrates theoretical material on culture, ethnicity, poverty and rural life. Course will provide an overview of needs assessment and provision of social welfare services in the region.
