CHEM 111 General Chemistry I Lab

One three-hour session per week. Metric system, S.I. units, stoichiometry, gasses, liquids, solids, solution concentration, molecular mass, thermochemistry, qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Prerequisite

Students must have an ACT score of 23 in math or an SAT equivalent or completion of a college level math course. Students with a math ACT below 23 or comparable SAT must meet with the instructor for permission to enroll in CHEM 111 concurrently with the supplemental course CHEM 010.

Corequisite

Must be taken concurrently with CHEM 110.
