Graduate Certificate in Art Therapy-ATR Track
This certificate program is intended for professionals who already hold a graduate degree in Counseling or a closely related field and who are interested in pursuing a career in art therapy. Courses are offered throughout the year within the Art Therapy and Counseling Master's program. Once accepted into the certificate program, students can begin to take courses as they fit into their individual and professional schedules. Graduate art therapy courses fulfill the educational requirements for credentials as an Art Therapist through the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB). In addition to the art therapy content, mental health courses are required and 2,000 hours of supervised postgraduate clinical work in art therapy to qualify for ATR credentials.
