MPS 503 Methods of Applied Research
Through six topics, this course engages students in understanding and conducting applied research: 1) defining applied research and distinguishing it from other types of research; 2) the uses of quantitative-based decision making; 3) various applied research techniques for addressing on-the-job issues; 4) conducting a literature review of applied sources; 5) the ethics of applied research; and 6) development of an applied research project proposal. Bachelor's degree required.
