EPSY 6305 Multiculturalism, Bilingualism, and the Exceptional Learner

This course provides an overview of ethnic, linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomic diversity and its significance in the evaluation, planning, and instruction of exceptional children. An emphasis is placed on first and second language acquisition, nondiscriminatory assessment procedures, and culturally responsive instruction.
