UTCH 4101 Apprentice Teaching Seminar

This one-credit-hour weekly seminar facilitates the students' integration of the supervised apprentice teaching experiences and the programs' professional curriculum. Topics include classroom management and time management, instructional planning and assessment, parent-teacher communication, school culture and dynamics, legal and logistical issues affecting teaching. The final portfolio must provide evidence that the student has met state standards for teacher certification.
