MARK 3365 Product and Service Design

This course is about the generation and screening of ideas that motivate and inform the design of products and services. In the idea generation, the course covers theories and methods that can help marketers to (1) understand and capture the end-users' communicated needs and wants and subconscious habits and (2) determine how such understanding can be used to improve the features and standards of products and services. In the idea screening stage, the course familiarizes students with concepts and tools to evaluate the generated ideas in terms of technical feasibility, economic justification, and sustainability concerns.
