BIOL 3420 Environmental Biology

This course will introduce useful biological principles to evaluating human impacts to the environment. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, environmental and ecological census techniques for water, soil, plants, and animals, nutrient cycling, metal transport fates, biomonitoring and indicator species, and human health and economical risk assessment, land management and rare species protection.
