ACCT 4355 Advanced International Accounting

This course examines accounting issues that organizations face when operating in different countries. Topics include accounting for international business transactions, including the use of derivatives for hedging foreign exchange risk, translating foreign currency financial statements of foreign operations, and select similarities and differences between U.S. GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Prerequisite

ACCT 3322 with a 'C' or better and Junior Standing. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
