BUS 301 Business & Economic Statistics I

An introductory course in statistical methods and their use in gathering and interpreting quantitative data upon which to base decisions under conditions of uncertainty. First semester covers probability, sampling, inference, simple correlation, and regression. Second semester includes variance and time-series analysis, non-parametric statistics, statistical forecasting, decision-making, and quality control. (Same as MAT 301) (Fall only)
