CHEM-453 Medicinal Chemistry
Introduces basic principles of pharmacology (dose-response curves, absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) and toxicology. The biochemical mechanisms of several toxicants (pain-killers, ethanol, pesticides, etc.) will be discussed. Introduces computer-aided drug design skills.
