Financial Aid Disbursement
Financial aid awards for students in credit hour programs are disbursed beginning in September for fall, late January for spring, and June for summer. (Please note that disbursement dates are subject to change.) Before aid can be disbursed, faculty must complete the “Verify Participation” process for each course in which a student is enrolled. Disbursements are released once the student has submitted all required information and documentation and meets all eligibility criteria, including the Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Disbursements will continue throughout the academic period for eligible students. If the total amount of aid disbursed for the academic period exceeds the cost of tuition, fees, obligations, and books (if any), the student may receive a financial aid refund after all charges are paid in full, and a credit balance is obtained.
Signing up to receive financial aid refund via direct bank deposit is highly recommended. Students can submit their direct deposit information by selecting the Finances application on their Workday portal homepage, then Set Up Payment Elections.
