OCCU 625 OT Process: Older Adult Practice
This course focuses on the occupational therapy process as it applies to the older adult population. Emphasis will be placed on occupation-based models of practice and frames of reference to guide clinical reasoning for intervention in the older adult population whose occupational performance is affected by various physical and psychosocial conditions. Screening, assessment, formulation of intervention plans, treatment implementation, and discontinuation of services and documentation of services will be addressed.
