ENGL 144 Nineteenth Century British Women Writers

Introduction to several genres of literature written by outstanding British women writers of the 19th century. Through its focus on early writings in the women's movement, the course will provide a context for developments in 20th-century women's discourse. Meets QuEST/General Education Literature requirement.
