MLT1050 Clinical Chemistry
This course applies introductory chemistry theory to the clinical chemistry laboratory. Topics include analysis of the chemical constituents in blood and body fluids, application of this information to health and disease, basic statistical methods and quality assurance. Techniques performed include manual and automated chemistry procedures. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to perform routine clinical chemistry procedures and evaluate the results in the clinical experience.
