COMM 1005 Intercultural Communication

This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively function in intercultural environments, situations, and relationships. Within this process, one focus will be communication between the American Indian and Euro-American cultures, although many different cultures will be included in this experience. The theoretical foundations and systematic structure of communication processes will lay the foundation from which intercultural relationships will be examined. Students earning credit in COMM 1005 may not earn credit in NAIS 1005. (3 lect.)
