AFVT 1625 Hybrid & Elec Vehicle Operation Concepts
In this course the students will be introduced to the science and technology that is used in hybrid and electric vehicles. The students will also be introduced to hybrid and electric vehicle terminology and system classification. The student will examine battery technology, AC motors, high voltage generators, motor/generator controllers, regenerative braking, ICE (internal combustion engine) integration with the electric machine, and unique hybrid support systems.
