PSYC 2340 Abnormal Psychology

This course is a study of the major types of abnormal behavior, including anxiety disorders, psychophysiological disorders, personality disorders, affective disorders, schizophrenic disorders, brain disorders, substance disorders, and the disorders of childhood origin. Divergent theoretical perspectives are utilized in examining the assessment, treatment, and prevention of maladaptive behavior. Prerequisite: Completion of PSYC 1000 or instructor's permission.
