Dear Mercy College Students:
Welcome to Mercy College of Ohio! We are so glad that you have selected Mercy College to continue your education as part of the Mercy tradition.
Mercy College is a Catholic institution that educates students in the tradition of the Religious Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of Charity of Montreal (Grey Nuns) and is an affiliate of Bon Secours Mercy Health, one of the nation’s largest and most respected healthcare systems. In 2023, the College celebrated its 105th anniversary of preparing healthcare professionals!! In 2021, the College launched its third graduate program, a Master in Physician Assistant Studies. This program joined our other two graduate programs: the Master of Science in Nursing and the Master of Health Administration. We also started an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology program in 2022 and will begin our new Bachelor of Science with a major in Medical Laboratory Science in Fall 2023.
The faculty and staff of the College seek to inspire students to a commitment of lifelong learning and social responsibility in the spirit of the Mercy heritage and values. Mercy College is committed to providing students with a high-quality education that prepares them for their careers.
Students in clinical programs graduate as proficient, knowledgeable, and culturally competent professionals. Graduates of nonclinical programs are knowledgeable in the administrative functions of healthcare and are prepared to provide high-quality service in a caring manner. The certificate programs prepare students to work in specialized fields.
