MGT 3005 Foundations of Leadership
This foundational course in Leadership Studies provides a broad overview of the constructs and processes required for effective leadership. The student will examine leadership models, theories, and frameworks. The student will critique leadership effectiveness through historical contexts, and assemble their own foundational leadership model. (3 lect.)

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Evaluate the various models of leadership and the variables that impact leadership style and effectiveness.
2. Critique historical leaders in terms of leadership strengths and effectiveness.
3. Evaluate the impact of traits and behaviors in making decisions.
4. Construct a foundational leadership model using traits, strengths, theories, and approaches covered in class.
