  • Systems of Particles
  • Planar Rigid Body Kinetics
  • Mass Moment of Inertia

Outcomes

In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:

1. Apply particle kinematics concepts to rectilinear motion, curvilinear motion, and Newton’s second law.

2. Apply particle kinematics concepts to work-energy and impulse-momentum problems.

3. Apply planar rigid body kinetics to dynamic equilibrium, work-energy, and impulse-momentum problems.

4. Synthesize topics covered to solve a variety of problems involving particle and rigid body kinematics and kinetics.
