COSC 2300 Discrete Structures

Introduces important mathematical concepts that serve as a foundation for computer science and advanced mathematics. The areas of focus will include: logic, set theory, relations and functions, graph theory, combinatorics, probability and proof methods. The student earning credit in COSC 2300 cannot also earn credit in MATH 2300. Prerequisite: Completion of COSC 1030MATH 2200 or MATH 2350.  (3 lect.)
