BIOL 2005 Natural History of Yellowstone
The Yellowstone ecosystem is the site for this course. Students will learn basic flora and fauna identification, ornithology, meteorology, glaciology, and geology, and examine the aftermath of the 1988 Yellowstone fires. Safety, judgement, leadership, outdoor skills and environmental ethics are stressed. Prerequisite: NOLS permission required. (4 lect.)
