Outcomes

In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:

1. Define business-related terms.

2. Explore business functions, including, but not limited to, accounting, economics, management, human resources, and marketing.

3. Examine current issues in the business environment.

4. Assess the importance of business ethics and social responsibility.

5. Compare and contrast types of business ownership.

6. Examine the types of organizational design (i.e. decentralized versus centralized).

7. Explore concepts and principles related to the marketing environment.
