ART 2146 Digital Photography II
This is an advanced class in digital photography and image editing software within graphic design. The student will learn photographic and computer techniques essential for creating computer manipulated imagery. This course is designed to further develop the student's skills in pixel based photographic design and printing. There will be an emphasis on precise exposure control with a focus on design and the history of photography. Digital images will be edited with Adobe Photoshop. Prerequisite: Completion of

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Apply advanced techniques of digital photography
2. Identify and utilize the principles of control in digital photography, digital composition, and control of light
3. Analyze and critique photographs and photography as an art
4. Critically analyze the versatility of photography as a fine art and how it pertains to commercial value
5. Identify the technical aspects of proper digital camera use
